Frequently Asked Questions

1. What should I bring to a session?
For outdoor sessions, comfortable workout clothes and shoes are key. If we’re training in the gym or at your home, I’ll bring any equipment you need, but feel free to bring water, a towel, and a positive attitude!

2. How many sessions do I need to see results?
It varies depending on your goals and starting point, but most clients begin to feel stronger and more confident after just a few weeks. I recommend committing to at least 6 sessions to see consistent progress.

3. Can I train with you if I’m a complete beginner?
Absolutely! I work with people of all fitness levels, and I’m here to help you build confidence and strength from the ground up. Every session is tailored to your current abilities and goals.

4. Do I need to be fit to start personal training?
Not at all! Personal training is for everyone, whether you’re new to exercise or looking to level up. My goal is to meet you where you’re at and help you progress at your own pace.

5. What happens if I need to cancel or reschedule a session?
Life happens! I offer flexible rescheduling, and as part of your training package, you’ll have priority when it comes to booking or shifting sessions. Just let me know as soon as possible, and we’ll find a new time.

6. How do I know which training package is right for me?
It depends on your goals, schedule, and budget. If you’re unsure, I’d recommend starting with a free consultation or a single session to discuss what would work best for you. We can then tailor a plan based on your needs.

7. Is there a minimum number of sessions I need to commit to?
No, you can choose to pay as you go, or book a set package depending on what suits your needs. However, committing to a package can help you stay consistent and see results faster.

8. Do you offer virtual sessions?
Yes, I offer online sessions via Zoom or video call. This is a great option for those with a busy schedule, or if you’re not local to Brighton & Hove.

9. Can you help with nutrition as well?
Yes! I offer general nutritional advice as part of your training. While I’m not a registered dietitian, I’ll guide you on how to fuel your workouts and build healthy eating habits to support your fitness goals.

10. Can I train with you if I have an injury or health concern?
Yes, absolutely. If you’re recovering from an injury or have a specific health concern, I’ll work with you to create a safe and effective program. I’ll ensure that your training respects your limits and helps you build strength safely.
